Villa Uccellaia

Villa dans un environnement idéal, entre les oliviers et les cypres, dans la commune d'Agello, pas loin de Pérouse. Nous étions une famille de 7 mais la maison a capacité pour plus. Nous avons passé un séjour excellent en automne. La maison est très bien équipée. Daniele a été très réactif pour les quelques besoins que nous lui avons exprimés. Au vu de la saison nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine, mais cela doit être fort agréable en été. Il y a une salle de jeux, barbecue, salon extérieur, cuisine très bien équipée. Tout pour un séjour idéal. Lisez bien les conditions au moment de réserver: il faut une caution en espèces (rendue au départ) et le paiement du ménage est obligatoire.
Tout était très bien. Merci pour vos mails de bienvenue et vos instructions d'arrivée. Comme suggestion d'amélioration, éventuellement montrer comment fonctionne l'aspirateur et le fait qu'il y a des adaptateurs électriques sur place (si on ne le sait pas on n'imagine pas qu'il faut les chercher dans la pièce à balais).

We had an excellent stay in this villa, the overall space was very large and comfortable. Big room sizes and bathrooms, different living room areas to relax. The outside as well was never ending, with many different dining tables and areas in the shade in the gardens. The AC in the house is only in the bedrooms but the house itself is cool and so even with 38 degrees of heat outside, you did not feel it inside. The kitchen was so well equiped with so many utensils, plates and pots to cook for many people. And with an outside fridge closer to the pool, it meant you could have double cool drinks closer to the pool area. If you go in July/August you can eat the figs from the huge tree in the gardens, they melt in your mouth! Daniele was an excellent and super responsive house keeper, always available and helpful with suggestions when I needed to order a cake for my daughters birthday. We also ordered dinner from Chef Ambra for the first night and it was delicious, and very fairly priced - it actually lasted us 2 meals. The location is great to explore Umbria with your car. The views from the house are "incantevole", and it is in a peaceful area with no one over looking you. I cannot rate the accommodation enough and have already recommended it to friends. Clean, spacious, great communication with house keeper and owner, just perfect for our time in Umbria.

Villa Ucellaia is een prachtig origineel gebouw met alle comfort dat je nodig hebt om eens gezellig met je familie samen te zijn. We hebben genoten van het prachtig, bijna sprookjesachtige landschap
De ligging van het huis was voor ons van groot belang, dichtbij andere typische dorpjes en de stad Perugia dus een zeer goede uitvalbasis om Italie te beleven.
Het team dat ons verzorgde was super vriendelijk en attent, zij deden werkelijk alles om ons verblijf zeer aangenaam te maken met speciale dank aan Daniel. Het zwembad was een welkome verfrissen zeker met 2 kleine kindjes
We hebben echt genoten van deze 2 weken.
heel interessant was het eten dat we konden bestellen bij een Italiaanse kokkin typischer kon niet zo hadden wij meer tijd voor onze familie.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Paolos beautiful villa with a spectacular view. Daniele was very helpful with the questions we had. Everything worked well at the villa and the pool and the extra little house with table football and tennis made the holiday much fun for our children. Suitable for multiple families traveling together. Everyone found their own little corners outside.

Stunning villa, amazing scenery, excellent host. Very responsive and helpful, would rate 9/10. The pictures do not do it justice, even more beautiful in real life. Only slight improvement would be offering amenities (showergel/shampoo etc) and stocked fridge.

L’esperienza a Villa Uccellaia è stata davvero meravigliosa. La casa è un’oasi di pace, perfetta per famiglie o gruppi di amici. A nostro avviso è ancora più di impatto dal vivo che nelle foto. I proprietari ed il custode Daniele sono stati magnifici nell’accoglienza e nel rendere il nostro arrivo ed il nostro soggiorno come essere a casa. Meraviglioso anche il servizio che la struttura offre per avere pietanze e chef a domicilio (consigliatissimo!). Grazie Paolo, Chiara e Daniele per aver contribuito a rendere questi 4 giorni in Umbria speciali!!! Non vediamo l’ora di tornare

The stay at Villa Uccellaia was absolutely fantastic. The property is in a very beautiful context, half-way between Perugia and Trasimeno lake, providing an unique tradeoff to be in a quiet place, immersed in the nature with a outstanding view (that property is in a hill) over the neighboring lands, but yet, very close to interesting/touristic places, such as Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi, etc that are 20 minutes away. The house is extremely charming, with a style that will remind you of a noble farmhouse in the Italian countryside. There is a lot of space in the surroundings of the house where you can chill and enjoy the quiet and relaxing context. The rooms (either bedrooms and living rooms) are rather spacious, with cozy and well-thought-out furniture perfectly fitting the house's style, while still featuring all the amenities you may need. The kitchen is very well-furnished.
Last but not least, the owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and they will do anything they can to make you feel at home and to make your stay as enjoyable as it possibly can. They are very proactive and reactive to support questions and requests you may have, always with a kind and human touch.

We enjoyed the stay at L‘Uccellaia. Our stay at this villa in Umbria was truly memorable. The villa is set in a stunning location, nestled at the foot of a lush olive grove, with sweeping views over the charming town of Agello. In April, the surrounding nature is in full bloom, creating a vibrant and colorful landscape, though be prepared for frequent rain showers that add to the region’s green beauty.
The villa itself is exceptionally spacious, offering plenty of room for families or groups to relax both indoors and outdoors. The expansive grounds invite you to wander among olive trees and soak in the peaceful Umbrian countryside. The kitchen is impressively equipped, leaving nothing to be desired for those who enjoy cooking with fresh local ingredients.

Il soggiorno in villa e’ stato superiore alle aspettative. Tutto molto pulito, ordinato e spazi enormi. Ci siamo goduti il giardino, fatto il barbecue e assaporato la tranquillità e il silenzio. Ideale per il periodo primaverile e per l’estate, vista la bellissima piscina. Ottima accoglienza telefonica del proprietario e di Daniele, i quali si sono messi a nostra disposizione. Ci ritorneremo.

Very nice place in calm surroundings. Beautiful nature and excellent view over the fields and moutains. Gorgeous house with all we need within. Clean pool and many options for kids as well. The host Paolo was super hospitable and very easy to get in contact with about anything we needed. He helped with everything from recommedations to booking private chefs and restaurants. Thank you for the perfect vacation.

Éramos um grupo de 10 pessoas e ficámos muito bem acomodados neste incrível espaço. Ainda mais bonito que nas fotografias é uma casa acolhedora que permitiu que aproveitássemos ao máximo esta estadia. A casa estava bem equipada. A comunicação com os proprietários e com o responsável de check-in foi sempre muito responsiva, cuidada, e com muita atenção e flexibilidade para connosco e com as nossas necessidades. Recomendo vivamente a experiência de ficarem nesta casa. Gratidão por nos receberem tão bem. Fazemos intenção de regressar .

Mooie authentieke villa met veel ruimte, een prachtige grote tuin met meerdere terrassen en een geweldig mooi weids uitzicht. Zwembad is heerlijk en deze wordt elke dag schoongemaakt. Het huis en de tuin hebben wel wat hoogteverschillen, dus ben je slecht ter been dan is dat een uitdaging. In de omgeving kan je genoeg uitstapjes maken: meer van Trasimeno, Assissi, Spello, Castiglione del Lago etc. Boodschappen kan je doen bij de eenvoudige supermarkt in het dorp (wandelend flink klimmen, dus een auto is nodig). De vriendelijke eigenaar en de host zijn altijd bereikbaar via de app, zij reageren snel.

il soggiorno è stato fantastico. il casale è spettacolare ed ampio eravamo tre famiglie riunite per le festività pasquali...e ci siamo trovati bene con i nostri spazi e la nostra privacy siamo riusciti a visitare le cascate delle marmore, Perugia ed Assisi. I bambini si sono divertiti un mondo negli spazi che offre la tenuta. tutto davvero impeccabile complimenti..

We spent a week in Umbria/Villa L’Uccellaia for a family wedding. It was the perfect escape and a great center point to be able to see lots of what the area has to offer. We were able to work with Paulo and his staff to have their personal chef cook a WONDERFUL meal and host about 25 family members for a pre-wedding dinner during our stay. The little town of Agello sits as a picturesque background just outside the back patio. It is a wonderful place to visit for a cappuccino in the morning. I would recommend Villa L’Uccellaia unequivocally!

We really enjoy this property. The location was great, the view and outdoors were awesome! It was very clean. The kitchen was a bit smaller than expected but had everything we needed. The pool was great and they came to clean it everyday. It was very hot at night. A.C or bigger fans would be great. The service/manager of the villa was amazing and so helpful!

Excellent location, extremely helpful host and housekeeper who were supportive without being intrusive. Very straight forward check in and departure for a stress free beginning and end to our holiday. The breakfast tray of cakes was a lovely surprise on our third morning. Well stocked kitchen. Downstairs fridge useful to store beers, soft drinks and cocktails and within reach of the terrace and pool. Quiet, very private, and plenty of walks around the villa, and close to village of Agello for coffee and cake, as well as being close to Assisi, Spello, Perugia and Montefalco. Could accommodate large parties, the 7 of us had plenty of space, sunbeds, chairs, gazebo, 2 outside Dining areas and one inside. One of the best villas we've stayed in. We hope to return. Thanks to Paolo and Daniele. A superb 2 week holiday.

villa molto spaziosa con una splendida vista delle colline umbre, host molto gentile e premuroso.

Siamo stati in 3 famiglie (10 persone) la terza settimana di agosto. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La Villa è molto ben equipaggiata, la piscina viene pulita tutte le mattine, gli spazi esterni molto ampi e comodi. La cucina ben attrezzata, e comodi il cucinotto ed il bagnetto al piano terra. Stanze ampie, arredamento curato (seppure anni 70 ma in buone condizioni). Noi l’abbiamo trovata molto pulita ed il servizio, check in check out, disponibilità, eccellente.

La villa "L'Uccellaia" gode di una posizione privilegiata che permette una vista meravigliosa della campagna umbra. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in sette persone ed i grandi e numerosi spazi interni hanno permesso di godere del tempo insieme avendo anche la giusta privacy. Il giardino esterno, molto ben curato, è perfetto per godere di giornate e serate in totale relax. Da consigliare assolutamente a chi cerca una vacanza all'insegna del riposo, ideale per rigenerarsi dallo stress della vita quotidiana.

We traveled with an extended family of 10, of all ages. There was plenty of room, including very nice spots to eat outdoors with a view. The chance to visit the house when the 100s-year-old fig tree was ripe with fruit was a special treat. We enjoyed the gorgeous panorama. The pool and the ping pong were big hits with the kids, and a welcome break from the heat. Caretakers arrived each morning to clean the pool and water the gardens. Indoors, we would caution that there is no AC; this proved to be less of an issue with the hosts providing fans, but the upper bedrooms (especially) might be challenging for those used to sleeping in AC when summer temps are high. The compact kitchen was well-stocked to accommodate our large group, but visitors should come prepared with soap/paper/condiments/etc. The well-situated, historic Umbrian house is in need of some future updates, but provided relaxing and enjoyable family stay. The owner and local caretakers were very responsive and helpful throughout.

L'emplacement est magnifique, la vue est unique. L'espace extérieur est très bien pensé avec une piscine entretenue tous les jours, tout comme le jardin. L'intérieur est très confortable avec plusieurs coins salons appréciables. La literie est bonne, les salles de bains spacieuses, et la cuisine bien équipe. A noter en extérieur une autre cuisine. La chapelle est très bien équipée en hifi, ping pong et baby foot. En période de fortes chaleurs prolongées, la maison est difficile à rafraichir les soir, car les fenêtres de type guillotine ne permettent qu'une ouverture à 50%, en revanche leur moustiquaire est appréciable. Heureusement des ventilateurs sont fournis. Espace à recommander, mais peut être pas au plus chaud de l'été.

Haus auf wunderschönem Grundstück in sehr ruhiger Lage. Der Pool war herrlich und für uns als 6-köpfige Familie vollkommen ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und wir haben in allen Betten wunderbar geschlafen. In jedem Zimmer befindet sich ein Ventilator, der Pool wird täglich zu früher Stunde gereinigt.Die Lage ist optimal für Ausflüge zu bekannten Städten wie Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi etc. Die Kommunikation und der Service der Agentur waren vorbildlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This Villa is a beautiful property set on breathtaking land. We enjoyed our stay with our three children and friends. Lots of room and things to do. Beds upstairs are a bit on the hard side. But, other than that we had a fantastic stay.

La Villa è davvero bellissima, in una posizione ottima per esplorare le zone circostanti e immersa nel verde. Molto curata nei suoi spazi sia interni che esterni, è accessoriata con tutto quello che è necessario per un soggiorno davvero comodo e molto pulita. La cucina è recentemente rinnovata e ben accessoriata.
Siamo stati in un periodo freddo e abbiamo usufruito del riscaldamento che ha funzionato bene e per cui ci siamo agilmente accordati, è stato gestito benissimo da remoto.
Il Proprietario è stato davvero gentilissimo e molto disponibile, rispondendo molto rapidamente e in maniera positiva ai nostri contatti.
Segnaliamo che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la brochure di informazioni che ci è stata inviata prima del soggiorno (disponibile anche alla Villa) dove è descritta bene la posizione, l'organizzazione della casa, e dove sono riportati tanti consigli su posti da visitare, ristoranti, ecc.
Negli spazi esterni sono disponibili una bella piscina che non abbiamo potuto provare (per periodo freddo), abbiamo potuto però godere del barbecue e dell'area relax.
Abbiamo effettuato Check in e Check out con una collaboratrice, Susanna, davvero gentilissima e molto disponibile anche lei.
Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo ordinato una cena a domicilio preparata dalla Chef menzionata nelle informazioni, Ambra, con la collaboratrice Adelina: consegnata in perfetto orario, e con numerose portate (antipasti misti, un primo, diversi secondi e contorni) davvero tutte molto buone, segnaliamo in particolare l'agnello al forno ed il rolle' di tacchino veramente buonissimi e che senza dubbio valgono l'ordine insieme agli antipasti.

Casale tipico umbro… molto spazioso e ben tenuto in un posto molto tranquillo e rilassante, ma allo stesso tempo strategico per visitare tutta l’umbria…

Una location affascinante ed accogliete

The Villa is beautifully located, spacious and very well equipped. We enjoyed the comfort of 3 bathrooms for 4 sleeping rooms. Dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with little kitchen downstairs are really well thought, to ease meals outside. Barbecue was nice too. The lovely view we enjoyed as much as the pool and traveling around the lake and to Perugia and Assisi. Susanne was very helpful especially, when our car broke down and she suggested driving us to Perugia to rent a car.

It was like a dream for us. It was so amazing.

Bellissima villa in una posizione strategica per visitare tutta Umbria. Ideale per 2 famiglie anche con ragazzi adolescenti

Splendida posizione, con panorama eccezionale sulla vallata. Gli spazi esterni sono veramente molto belli, e permettono anche a gruppi numerosi (noi eravamo in 11) di godere della tranquillità di questa bellissima parte della campagna umbra. Gli spazi interni sono confortevoli, anche se su più livelli: nei mesi centrali dell'estate, senza l'aria condizionata, la temperatura delle camere può essere elevata. Molto bello lo spazio della piscina, anche se la profondità della vasca non è elevata (come specificato nella descrizione). Un'ottima esperienza, a poca distanza da centri turistici importanti, e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Prendetevi il tempo, al momento del check-in, di controllare tutti gli spazi a disposizione. Ottimi contatti e assistenza da parte della proprietà.

Wir hatten zu 2 Familien / 9 Personen einen tollen Urlaub in der Villa. Villa und Grundstück sind riesengroß, genug Platz für alle, toller Pool, absolute Ruhe, alles sehr sauber. Sehr freundliche Haushälterin, sehr netter Eigentümer.

Posto molto suggestivo circondato dalle colline umbre. La casa è molto grande (siamo stati in 11 persone) e gli spazi esterni sono eccezionali. Pulizia molto scrupolosa e la cucina è veramente attrezzata di tutto. Anche la posizione è molto comoda, in 40/50 minuti si arriva comodamente ad Assisi, Spello. Perugia, Todi, ecc... Consigliatissimo per gruppi famigliari con bambini o ragazzi.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana all’insegna del relax! Molto gentili e disponibili sia i proprietari che la signora Susanna e suo padre Roberto. Cucina attrezzatissima e dotata veramente di tutto ciò che può servire.

Huset er charmerende med en smuk beliggenhed. Dejlige store værelser og gode muligheder for at bo flere familier sammen. Dejlig stor pool man kan nedkøle sig i.
Vi kunne godt have brugt aircondition, da der var 30 grader om natten var det næsten umuligt at sove. Der findes ventilatorer, som hjalp en lille smule.

Villa Uccellaia was delightful for our family and friends providing space to relax and a suitable location to explore. Its facilities and accommodation suited our needs perfectly with the Villa ideally situated on the hills outside Perugia overlooking the beautiful remote Umbrian countryside under the backdrop of the nearest village of Agello. We hired the villa for a full month making the most of our time equally shared between the persuasion of the swimming pool and well-maintained grounds, and visiting the allures of the local area, Tuscany and other Italian cities including Rome. From the moment we arrived, we were well received by the owner’s representative who visited most days to look after the grounds and the pool. No query or request was too small and the historic villa and gardens were well looked after, so were we, during our stay.
Our long lasting memory from this summer must be from in the pool looking up to the sun-drenched Villa and down through the olive groves over the golden wheat fields being farmed. For this brief moment Villa Uccellaia became our home away from home. Thank you Paolo & Chiara.

We absolutely would recommend the VILLA.  The Villa is obviously set on the most beautiful grounds with breath taking views of the countryside, but it is also very comfortable and, most importantly immaculate.   I particularly appreciated the crisp sheets – I have not slept on ironed sheets since my youth.   Another benefit was having Roberto and Stefano visit to assist us.   They provided us with recommendations for dinner, firewood for the fireplace and a most appreciated ride to the Perugia train station.   The staff is very accommodating and extremely pleasant.
We were also surprised to be a part of the Olive Harvest.    We were invited to help pick olives off the trees and enjoyed the animated crew that was there to complete the huge undertaking.  They even serenaded us with song.   Lovely!!

Wir haben uns mit 10 Personen in der Villa sehr wohl gefühlt. Der riesige Garten ist großartig, es gibt zahlreiche schöne Sitzecken, es ist ruhig und der Blick traumhaft schön. Der Vermieter und die Hausangestellten waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.

The compound, the house and the swimming pool were clean and the environment was beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is a bit small but we had no problem with that.

We enjoyed your villa very well maintained with a very nice view, took advantage of the pool and many garden lounges that you make available.
We were very hot and the fans were welcome. The area is really pretty (Perugia, Assisi) and we had the chance to be present the week that took place the annual festival of Agello with concerts every night of the week.

A lovely villa with an array of different outside areas to sit in and good facilities. The area was great with plenty to explore. The owners and house keeper were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Our experience at Villa L'Uccellaia was wonderful. It was a beautiful villa in a beautiful setting with outstanding views. It is also well suited for children - especially the ping pong table and children's water toys. The pool was very well maintained (cleaned daily) and is an incredible asset - perfect after arriving from a day trip on a hot afternoon.The barbecue was also a must for us, and it's availability and high quality was very appreciated given the accessibility to the outstanding butcher shop in town. The villa is also well situated for day trips to Perugia and Assisi, but also to places like Citta del Lago, Spoletto, Spello and Montefalco. Paolo was very kind to meet us in the town and help us find out way to the property and was very accommodating. Roberto visited regularly to check in on us and he was very pleasant and helpful. 

In your villa we found everything we needed for recreation and well-being during our holiday. Living in the large rooms with the old furniture was a pleasure for us all. Also the terrace under the large fig-tree, the garden with all the flowers and the view over the country was beautiful. The pool-service was excellent and we enjoyed to have all the rich equipment inside and outside to our disposition.

The really beautiful, well equipped and large Villa with the generous outdoor area and swimming pool is located in a wonderful area with beautiful flowers, olive trees, spacious outdoor sitting areas, barbecue. A fantastic, charming and quiet location – perfect to relax. It was our 7th stay and it was like coming home

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé !
Votre maison est vraiment très confortable et l'endroit a une vue magnifique.
Pour moi, c'était un plaisir de regarder ces oliviers, si bien entretenus ainsi que les perdrix et les faisans qui se promenaient entre les arbres...
Nous avons aussi apprécié le village, notamment le bar/boulangerie à l'entrée, où en plus d'acheter du pain on a pris l'habitude de boire de la grappa.

A fantastic house with perfect quiet surroundings and a great pool! A lovely week in Umbrien. Visited wine yards, went to Lake Trasimeno, went water rafting, visited beautiful city's: Assisi, Perugia and Cortona. We (4 adults and 4 kids - age 5-10) highly recommend!

We were two families with five children and had a very nice and relaxing stay. The pool was being used all the time, and the different places to sit and relax and eat were all used at different times during the day.

What a wonderful place to stay. The Villa was everything we hoped for and more. It has spectacular views, is close to the lovely village of Agello. There are several outdoor seating areas and was perfect for our party of 5.

The Villa Uccellaia was the perfect stay! Beautiful area, quiet surroundings. The area felt safe. No traffic close to the property. The kids loved the pool, play area and the church were they had lots of fun. The sitting areas around the house were all very nice but we found our favorite spot. We were two families with three little boys.
The care taker, Roberto was very helpful. Took care of the garden and pool every morning.
We would love to come back one day.

Wir genossen dieses geschichtsträchtige Haus, seine Lage und seine Umgebung mit Pool sehr. Wir buchten ein Arrangement mit Köchin, die uns regionale Spezialitäten servierte. Wir hatten auch Gelegenheit die nette Vermieterin und den Verwalter kennenzulernen. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter und würden auch gerne selbst wieder kommen.
